Patrick Family

Hosting Japanese students has been a real positive experience for us. We were introduced to GPI and currently have our third Japanese student. We have had 3 very good girls, very different from each other also, which has made it very interesting. They will be friends for life!!! We made a very strong connection with our second student. My daughter even commented the other day that when she gets married she is going to have them as her bridesmaids. That made me smile. We get to love these girls just like our own. And to say goodbye is brutal, I usually start crying just thinking that they are leaving us about 2 weeks before they leave, but we will always stay in contact with them all.
We hope to host again this January.
GPI has been very good at supporting us, I would not hesitate to talk to them if I had any problems. They have made this a great experience for us as a family. Thank you soooooo much GPI.

It has been our delight and pleasure to host students from Japan for the past six years. We have come to consider our exchange students as members of our family and have remained close with all of them after they returned home. This was very evident when our first student from 2004/05 came to visit us over Christmas 2007 while he was attending university in the USA. It is such a treat each year to experience our special events like Halloween and Christmas through the eyes of our students. Each student has enriched our lives in their own unique way and with the use of webcams and emails we have discovered that the world is indeed a very small place. The professionalism, positive outlook and outstanding support of the Global Partners staff ensures an enjoyable hosting experience for anyone who wishes to be part of the GPI family.
