About GPI Canada
We provide opportunities for both Canadian and international students to take part in cross-border student exchange. Is our goal to ensure that by experiencing the challenges and rewards of living and studying in unfamiliar cultural surroundings, our students will develop the skills to thrive in - and ultimately shape - our rapidly shrinking world.

For not-for-profit, Mikiko worked at JNTO (Japan National Tourism Organization) and continues to volunteer for the Japan-Canada Chamber Of Commerce. She has also worked in well-known international ESL and vocational schools in Vancouver, such as MTI Community College. Mikiko’s philosophy is that the door to learning in the international education field is revolving, and embracing both diversity and culture allows for opportunities to learn English in Canada and other languages around the world."

Mr. Aalgaard is the recipient of numerous awards and fellowships, including the Japan Foundation Doctoral Fellowship, the Social Sciences & Humanities Research Council of Canada Doctoral Fellowship, and the J. A. Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship."

Global Partners Institute is partnered with schools across Canada and offers wonderful educational experiences from small rural communities, to the bigger cities across Canada. GPI Canada will be curating youtube videos that speak to the diverse experiences of students across Canada from the perspective of homestay experiences, school adventures, and immersing in a brand new Canadian environment. Remember, Canada is cool!
